The RDI48 Rod is a 48-inch (121.9 cm) long, 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) diameter double-bend tool, crafted for precise dent repair. It is compatible with all of our interchangeable tips and includes the R4 tip as a standard, providing immediate versatility.
The handle on this rod is threaded to accommodate one or two handle extensions for added leverage and improved control. The bend length measures 4 inches (10.16 cm) with a tip, and the combined angle is 80 degrees, offering excellent maneuverability in tight spaces.
For best results, use E1, E2, and E3 Extension Tips to bring the tip closer to the dent while leveraging off a front tire on fenders. This setup improves access and ensures your hand avoids contact with the tire during repairs, allowing for more comfortable and efficient work.
